[edit] Who are you?
First, I'm going to welcome you anyway, despite what your userpage indicates:
Second, it seems that you're creating a userbox storage and have created this account for this purpose. I was wondering: have you edited Wikipedia under a different account before? Normally, it's best to disclose multiple accounts, to prevent problems, and even though you say you won't edit article space, other editors with multiple accounts have forgetten which username they're using before and posted with the wrong one. There's even a userbox you can use for the purpose: {{User Alternate Acct}}. Please accept my apologies if you've never edited before. Thanks.
[edit] I'm Just A Guy
It seems that a lot of people had this idea for thier own User Pages (See Here), but a person's User Page is somewhat sacrosanct to me and I don't really want to make changes on a User Page not my own. I set this up as a sort of neutral space free from the oversite of any particuar user, and also free from the overzealousness of some Admins in the regular User Space.
I'm just a moderate user. I've never been sanctioned under my normal name (You'll just have to take my word on that), but just in case someone yells at me for creating this I want to have the option of switching my IP and pretending that this never happened. After at least a few other people post here I will post here under my normal name, and throw away the password for this account. I'm very careful (and paranoid) and I'm sure that I won't accidentally post under this name.

[edit] About the Form Letter
I hope I didn't bother anybody with my form letter, but how is anybody going to get here without directions?

[edit] Seems a little pointless...
With all due respect, with userboxes moving into userspace, I highly doubt any admin would be able to keep a controversial userbox down for long, except for those that are REALLY off the wall. (Examples I've seen were pro-Nazi or pro-pedophilia.) I think this is a little unnecessary. --BlueSquadronRaven 09:11, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Maybe Pointless
It may be pointless, I'm not sure I completely understand the whole issue fully. But is there a central location for all userboxes, or place to list all userboxes? If you have a controversial userbox would it even be listed on the Wikipedia:Userboxes page? What good is keeping userboxes safe in the user space when they aren't allowed to be cataloged in any official place? I noticed that both the religion and sexuality userboxes are not listed there, but instead are hidden in people's User Pages.

The "official" Sexuality and Religion userbox pages were deleted because all the userboxes were moved into ordinary users' pages. The people who did this are not hiding them... take a look at the orange template on my own userbox page for listings of where to find them now. If anything, we now suffer from duplication of userboxes, rather than their loss. --BlueSquadronRaven 19:39, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Brilliant idea
I just wanted to point out that I think the idea of creating a seperate user account is a perfect solution for the problem. Everything goes into userspace and still its located centrally. Unfortunately, I am afraid not everybody will be happy with this and you might be up for some hard times once the word goes round that this account exists. --Cpt.
