[edit] KJHK
Thanks for your help with the KJHK article. If your interests lie in Lawrence, KS let me know. I'm a KU student and I try to work on connected topics. So, if you ever need help with anything, let me know. Happy editing. CharacterZero 00:13, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Resolved questions
I just made a bunch of edits to KJHK. I'm pretty pleased with the final result. But along the way, I basically made a bunch of minor edits, saving the page as I went so I wouldn't lose my work, or worry about having to merge the page with someone else's changes. Any way I can consolidate those edits on the history page, to clean it up a bit?
- Nope, there's no way, but don't worry about it. Next time, just use the preview button or write the content in notepad, but it's no big deal either way. Welcome to Wikipedia. :) GfloresTalk 04:23, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
A couple IPs were recorded vandalising Jem (TV series). I'd like to send the "thanks for trying out wikipedia" message to them, but I'm not sure what that template is, or generally how to search for templates.
Both IPs can be seen here.
- To answer your first question, just add {{subst:test1}} to the vandals' talk pages. --Pilot|guy 21:02, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
- Here is the complete list of warning templates. You can also use a progrm like popups to make reverting vandalism easier. See the Counter vandalism unit's page. --Pilot|guy 21:05, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Also, is there a way to revert an article without simply deleting the additions like a normal edit? If so, do you make reversions from the edit page or the history page?
- See Help:Reverting Thomas B 08:13, 9 July 2006 (UTC) (me!)
There seems to be an edit battle going on over the USC disambig page. A neutral third party who knows more about wikipedia procedure might want to take a look. Thomas B 08:15, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- As a third party, I completely agree with the way the page is after your last edit (this version). You could bring it up on the talk page of Wikipedia:Manual of Style (disambiguation pages), but hopefully the users will read that guideline and understand.--Commander Keane 08:22, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
How do I do section linking? Thomas B 23:20, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
When someone posts a response on my page, I wish I knew the best way to thank them without cluttering up their talk page. Thank you to everyone who's helped me here, the help as always been very high quality. I am really grateful.
How do I internally link to a specific version of a page?
- Don't worry too much about cluttering up a talk page, the user can just archive old discussions as they see fit. As for linking specific versions, make it an external link like this.
