Meanwhile, Piper and Paige try to vanquish a group of Swarm Demons, the last on Chris' list of the most significant threats to Wyatt.

[edit] Enemies
- Swarm Demons: Swarm Demons, like Kazis and Vampires, are part of a very militaristic, regimented hive. The Swarm King forms his minions from his own body and feels symbiotic pain when one of them is hurt or killed. Killing a Swarm Demon minion will only cause two more to take their place. In order to destroy the entire hive, you must vanquish the Swarm King.
[edit] Spells
- To Cleanse Karma: I call to thee pure witches fire, through vortex flow the heavenly mire. Cleanse brackish karma of debris. From dark to light sweep history.

[edit] Trivia
- Other episode titles used for this episode by The WB in advertising were Mata Hari in the US and Flames of Fury in Australia.
- This is Brian Krause's one hundredth episode of Charmed.
- This is the ninth and final episode to show the character Jason Dean, played by actor Eric Dane. Though he will reappear on flashbacks in the season eighth episode Generation Hex, where Coop takes Phoebe to see her past loves.
- Richard's brother Steve appears again in this episode. He first was shown in the episode Love's a Witch and later appears again in the episode I Dream of Phoebe.
- Jason and Phoebe supposedly had a fifteen-month long relationship. In the very next episode however, Piper clearly mentions that Wyatt isn't even a year old. The fact that Jason first arrived at the newspaper just as Phoebe was bragging about Wyatt's first baby pictures proves that the length of their relationship is not possible.
- Paige complains about not receiving a new power but as of this episode she has the ability to: orb, teleport objects and people from one place to another, sense when evil is near, morph her appearance, and channel the Whitelighter healing power through other Whitelighters. Thus she has more abilities than Piper or Phoebe who have been on the series for a much longer period of time.
- The Aura Cleanse spell that Richard alters was first used by Paige in the episode Hell Hath No Fury.
