Use map settings
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Use Map Settings is a multiplayer gametype in the computer game StarCraft. Much like the Capture the Flag or Mêlée gametypes, it represents a certain mode of loading a map that enables some functions and disables others. Most notably, in UMS games, triggers are enabled. Triggers may be used to define simple events or features (such as making a simple teleporter between areas of a map), or may be more complex, leading to the creation of entirely new scenarios driven by triggers. In this manner, the entire single-player campaign may be likened to a series of interconnected UMS games, with the human player pitted against various AI.
