Template talk:User College

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This template was ill-conceived from the outset, in that it state "This user is in college", but linked to sixth-form college. Now, in the UK (and Canberra, Australia), this is what 'college' means, but most readers of this userbox would interpret it along American lines to mean a tertiary education institution. I tried to make the box's purpose clearer by having it read 'sixth-form college', but clearly some users were using it in the belief that it referred to college simpliciter. I am therefore changing it to link to the general term 'college'. mgekelly 06:17, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
