[edit] SI notation style
This is the style following the SI/ISO 31-0 notation style where no punctuation mark, but a thin space can be used in every three places of digits present in large numbers. Note that this is different from the MOSNUM format, where commas are being used in every three places. i believe that Wikipedia should follow the international style of numbering instead of the official style incorporated by Wikipedia as the ISO 31-0 version is an internationally recognised format. This should be consistent for all large numbers in this project as well. --Siva1979Talk to me 19:46, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- I have been more consistent here by changing the style of the number within the template to follow SI/ISO 31-0 notation format where no punctuation mark, but a thin space can be used in every three places of digits present in large numbers. For bigger numbers, due to space constrains, the font should be reduced slightly. --Siva1979Talk to me 17:51, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
