  2. Subpage of Wikipedia:Wikipedians this category replaces
  3. Parent category link (e.g., "Wikipedians in <parent country>")
  4. Name of the parent country:
  5. Wikitext appended after the link to The State/Provence/Region, so you can add regional noticeboard links, etc.

To create a category for wikipedians in Massachusetts in the United States:

{{Template:Usercat-1|Massachusetts|Massachusetts|Wikipedians in the United States|United States|.}}

Note that leading and trailing whitespace in the parameters is not trimmed and may effe ct the output. Also note that in the below example output, the "To add yourself to this list..." segment is incorrect because it uses the {{PAGENAME}} variable. Therefore, when you place this on the category page, it will work correctly.
