this term is used mostly in India while establishing Letter of Credits (Documentary credits).
The payment is usually made after a specific number of days from the date of Bill of Lading / Airwaybill.
Eg : LC At 60 days : the usance period is 60 days from the date of bill of lading/airway bill.
