[edit] Hairy Chest of Resilience Badge
The Hairy Chest of Resilience badge is the hardest badge of the Urban Rangers. No one earned the badge for fifty years, until a competition between Eddy and Rolf to earn the badge during the Ed, Edd n' Eddy episode."The Good, the Bad and the Ed". To earn the badge, rangers have to go through 5 painful tests.
Before the first test, one of the non-participating rangers reads the introduction of the badge and the five tests from the ranger handbook, a huge book about the Urban Rangers. A bird-shaped whistle is used to signal the start and end of each test.
The first test is the "Wax of Wailing", which takes place in the construction site inside The ranger's assistants spread wax across the rangers leg and stick a leather strap on top of it. When the whistle blows, assistants have to peel off the leather strap, causing pain for the ranger.
The second test is the "Bumping of the Funny Bone", which takes place in a garage. Rangers sit on office chairs and have one of their elbows tied onto the arms of the chair. Then, after the whistle, their elbows are banged repeatedly onto a filing drawer by their assistants until the whistle blows again.
The third test is the "Bramble Bush of Belly aches", which takes place in the woods. Rangers have to go through a huge, long thorny bush in their "birthday suits".
The fourth test is the "Pendulum of Protest", which takes place in the playground. Rangers are hanged onto the supports of a swing and are smashed by rock pendulums until the whistle blows.
The fifth, and final test is the "tour of tears", which is the most painful of the five tests. Rangers jump off a wooden plank on the edge of a cliff and into a water tower, where they are dropped onto the front of a train and are dropped onto a couch. Then, the couch is thrown onto the air by a slingshot and lands in the constuction site, where the winner is determined.
