Uptown Girl (comic)

Uptown Girl is a self-published comic book by Twin Cities native Bob Lipski. The comic focuses on the adventures of Uptown Girl, a journalist for a local indie paper, and her two best friends Ruby Tuesday, an illustrator, and Rocketman, who works in a cube farm.

The name Uptown Girl is in fact a double play-on-words, since besides being the name of a Billy Joel song, the Uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis is known for being alternative.
