Unthinkable was a 7-part comic book storyline which ran through Fantastic Four #67 - 70 and #500 - 502 during 2003. It was written by Mark Waid and illustrated by Mike Weiringo, Karl Kesel, and Casey Jones.

The story featured Doctor Doom tracking down his childhood sweetheart Valeria, so that he could sacrifice her to the Haazareth Three -- a trio of demons -- in order to gain augmented magical power. Doom used this power to defeat the Fantastic Four, but in the end Mister Fantastic beat Doom by tricking him into boasting that he was indebted to no one. The demons dragged Doom to Hell, but not before Doom left a permanent scar on Reed's face.
