20 to 1: Unscripted and Unplanned

The episode Unscripted and Unplanned was aired on 27 March 2006 as the fifth episode of the second season of the TV series 20 to 1 on the Nine Network. It listed events that no-one could have planned or seen coming.
- Grant Page, Australian stuntman, being hit by a car on The Don Lane Show for a stunt ended up being seriously injured.
- 60 minutes reporter Ian Leslie asked how a man would be executed prompting a gun being put to his head with the trigger being pulled. Luckily the gun was not loaded. It also showed Getaway presenter Ben Dark walking into a gun store in Turkey and asking an 8-year-old server how it worked. The child pulled the trigger but luckily there was no bullet loaded.
- The incident known as the Birthday Cake Interview, where federal election candidate John Hewson was posed a question about a birthday cake by interviewer Mike Wilesee. Hewson failed to answer the question clearly. This incident is credited as being one that ending Hewson's election campaign.
- Constricting Python defecating on Paul Vautin. Also shown was Fatty being blown away by an exploding game board.
- Game show bungles. A wheel spinning out of control. Who wants to be a millionaire?. the longest answer (over 13 minutes).
- Santa dropping down from the roof to meet young children gets stuck halfway down as his beard gets stuck.
- Sudden falls. Fidel Castro trips down steps. Bob Dole falls of stage. Nancy Reagan trips. John Howard falls down stairs. Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins skirt falling down revealing G-String. Kerri-Anne Kennerley is dropped. American cheerleader falls off human pyramid, breaking neck but continues cheering.
- Lightning bolt brings players to the ground at Johannesburg soccer match. Whirlwind at soccer match in Japan.
- Madonna and Britney Spears kiss at the MTV Music Awards.
- Governor General Sir John Kerr drunk at the Melbourne Cup.
- Baby elephant doing its business on British Children's show Blue Peter. The elephant was also dragging a man around the studio.
- This Morning show in England - A streaker running around the weather man
- Bill Gates having a pie slammed in his face. Federal Australian Labor Party (ALP) leader Kim Beazley and Victorian Premier Steve Bracks were also pied.
- Celebrities on drugs, notably Iggy Pop on Countdown and Billy Idol at the Countdown Awards.
- The Price is Right - women making uncontrollable squeaking noises.
- Journalist v Politicians cricket match - Bob Hawke hit in the eye by cricket ball.
- Serial prankster Karl Power, who managed to stand in a Manchester United team photo wearing an Éric Cantona jersey, practice on centre court at Wimbledon and walk out to the pitch for the English team at the Ashes.
- Reporting hazards, especially a Romanian reporter being hit by a burning car and a laughing European weathergirl.
- UK Catchphrase board showing an image that appeared to be a banana and snake masturbating.
- A bear attacking a woman on a Polish talk show. Also shown was a rodeo in which a bull managed to remove the pants of the rodeo clown.
