[edit] Biography
Unleashed debuted in 1991 with Where No Life Dwells. The album received positive reviews, as did their next album, Shadows in the Deep. However, the reception of Victory and Warrior by fans and critics alike was generally negative, and the band went on hiatus until 2002. After a reissue of the band's classics in 2002, they released a new album called Hell's Unleashed, and they began to tour successfully again in festivals. Sworn Allegiance, released in 2004, had a generally positive reception among critics. In October 2006, the band released its latest album, Midvinterblot, to more positive reviews.
Unleashed will tour Europe in November 2006 as part of the Masters of Death tour, with Grave, Dismember, Entombed and Exterminator. In February-March 2007 they will headline a North American tour with Krisiun, Belphegor and Hatesphere.
