University of Illinois at Chicago is a large state university located in the Chicago area. UIC has 25,000 students, 15 colleges and annual research expenditures exceeding $290 million.
UIC strives to provide a broad access to the students & faculty to enable them to achieve consistently high levels of intellectual excellence.
On the healthcare front, UIC plays a major role in Illinois healthcare. UIC operates the state’s major public medical center and serves as the principal educator of Illinois’ physicians, dentists, pharmacists, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
