University of Houston Law Center

The University of Houston Law Center is an American Bar Association accredited law school and is one of the 13 colleges at the University of Houston. It awards the Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) degrees. In its 2007 publication, U.S. News & World Report ranked the school 70th among the nation's "Top 100 Law Schools". The Law Center's Health Law concentration is currently ranked second in the nation.[1]

The Doctor of Jurisprudence program consists of 90 semester hours. UH Law Center offers two programs: a three-year full-time day program and a four-year part-time evening program.
