University Union

University Union is a Syracuse University student organization. Created in 1962 as the Syracuse University's Programming Board the organization has gone through many transformations from student organization to "official" programming board back to student organization.

University Union is a union of several different entities including, Cinema Board, Comedy Board, Concert Board, Speaker Board, a 20watt free format radio station WERW 1570am and the Promotion Board. The organization is entirely student run and operated.

University Union hosts such events as the historic University Block Party, held the last weekend of every school year and most large scale event that takes place on campus. The organization is credited as a starting point of Syracuse University's many successful alumni in the entertainment industry.
