University Laboratory High School of Baton Rouge

University Laboratory High School is a laboratory school located on the campus of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This school teaches grades K-12 and is known as 'U-High' or 'UHS' to most schools in the parish. This is the only school in the entire state of Louisiana that includes the International Baccalaureate program. University Laboratory High School is ranked 205 in Newsweek’s 2005 list of the Best High Schools in the United States [1]

The athletic teams at U-High are known as the "Cubs" (due to the assosciation with LSU and the "Tigers") and play in the 2A Class in the Lousiana High School Athletic Assosciation (LHSAA). Sports played include football, boys' and girls' basketball, baseball, boys' and girls' soccer, cross country, and boy' and girls' swimming.
