Universidad Pedagógica Nacional (UPN) is Mexico's national university for training teachers, and has more than 50 campuses nationwide; this campus in Mexico City is UPN's largest, with over 25,000 students. It is currently in the process of being separated from the Secretaría de Educación Pública and becoming autonomous.
