United States presidential election, 2004, in Oregon

Oregon went Democratic in 2004 in spite of an active Republican campaign. Popular vote in rural counties went to George W. Bush, but liberal voters on the coast, and mainly in Portland pushed John F. Kerry to 52% popular vote victory in the state.
