United States District Court for the District of Michigan

The U.S. Attorney for the District of Michigan represented the interests of the people in the U.S. District Court for the District of Michigan from the end of the territorial period until December 24, 1863, when the U.S. Congress split Michigan into two federal districts.

He was preceded by the U.S. Attorney for the Territory of Michigan. He was succeeded by the following United States Attorneys the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan and the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Michigan.
