Unitarian Universalist Independent Affiliate organizations

Unitarian Universalist Independent Affiliate Organizations are organizations whose purposes are consistent with those of the Unitarian Universalist Association and are designated such by the UUA Board of Trustees. Such organizations are independently constituted and operated but are required to support the UUA through an annual donation.

Some organizations, such as the Unitarian Universalist Ministers Association (UUMA) are closely associated with the UUA since most UUA ministers are members; or the Unitarian Universalist Musicians Network to which most music directors in the denomination belong. Others, such as the Star Island Corporation, are also affiliated with other denominations.
