Louisville, Kentucky's Union Station has served as offices for the Transit Authority of River City since mid-April 1980.
The station was formally opened on September 7, 1891, and until October 8, 1979, Amtrak's Floridian served it. From December 4, 2001 to July 4, 2003, a track on the west side of the parking lot served the Kentucky Cardinal.
