Union Planters Bank
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Union Planters Bank was a large national bank based in Memphis, Tennessee. In May 2005, Union Planters and the Birmingham, Alabama-based Regions Bank merged to form Regions Financial Corporation, one of the largest banks based in the Central South. The combined bank retained the Union Planters logo of a young cotton plant. The final Union Planters branches were converted to the Regions nameplate in November 2005. [1]
