This non-article page is part of WikiProject Oklahoma, a WikiProject related to the U.S. state of Oklahoma.

However, I think the image needs to be replaced. Currently, the template is using the OU logo, which is copyrighted. Wikipedia policy on fair use of copyrighted images states in point 9 that "should never be used on templates (including stub templates and navigation boxes)". For this reason, similar templates used by Wikipedia:WikiProject University of Texas at Austin have used a hand drawn Hook 'em Horns instead of the UT logo. Since OU does not have a hand-sign, perhaps a GFDL photo of the campus would work well? Johntex\^talk 17:24, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

I put in a photo of the Bizzell library because it seems like a pretty picture and because it has a good aspect ration (taller than it is wide). There may be a better choice available - I'll look around some more. Johntex\^talk 17:29, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

I'm not sure about the copyright status of that picture. I have some much better ones that I took personally and are almost identical in composition but with more detail. It will be a few days before I can post them as they are on my other hard drive which I don't have with me right now. --Webmaestro 04:34, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
