Does anyone help the website for editing the article of U of M? -- Fatck 10:23, Sept 9 2006 (UTC)
If you are a student at the University of Manitoba and would like to show it. You can use a userbox by putting {{user UManitoba}} in your user page. It would look like this:
UofM | This user has an affiliation with the University of Manitoba. |

[edit] Centre for Ukrainian Canadian Studies
Someone flagged the Centre for Ukrainian Canadian Studies article saying it should be merged here. I disagree, since this is a unique Ukrainian Canadian institution. -- JamesTeterenko 04:27, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
- It should not be merged into this article, as main university articles tend to get quite large, even though this one is not (yet). If it must be merged, it could be merged into St. Andrew's College (Winnipeg). -- Usgnus 05:37, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
- I think that if it is merged into anything, it should be St. Andrew's College (Winnipeg), since they are partly connected, but not into the U of M.--Calak 19:33, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- The Centre for Ukrainian Studies is a division of U of M. It is part of the college as well, but the connection to UofM is more important in terms of prestige of the academic studies done there. The college itself is an affiliated college of the University. For example, Theology students at St. Andrew's College have no connection to the University of Manitoba whereas all other students (including student of the Centre for Ukkrainian Studies) are University of Manitoba students first and foremost.
- I think that if it is merged into anything, it should be St. Andrew's College (Winnipeg), since they are partly connected, but not into the U of M.--Calak 19:33, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Notable Alumni
The 'Notable Alumni' section of this article is getting quite out of hand. If you refer to the history, you'll find that most of it is just additions of notable alumni and staff. Perhaps a new article should be created or all but particularly notable alumni should be removed. -Hiebert 23:52, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Notable Staff
Can anyone provide evidence that Guy Maddin was actually a Professor? I know he's taught some courses, but that's not the same thing.
[edit] Long link lists
Sections containing long external link lists, such as 'Academics' and 'Libraries' should be removed in adherance with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:External_links#Important_points_to_remember. Hiebert 21:57, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
