This article is within the scope of WikiProject North Carolina, an effort to create, expand, organize, and improve North Carolina-related articles to a feature-quality standard.

As far as I'm concerned, the information presented here is fairly extensive, given the fact that University Mall operates in a much different fashion than your typical retail mall. In some ways, the "U-Mall" tends to capture the essence of Chapel Hill in a way that makes it special and unique. To say that it is another sterile, look-alike shopping center would be highly exaggerated at best.

I would call University Mall unique, but upscale might be a stretch. It has a Rose's for goodness sakes!
