I happened to find this entry by accident. I noticed that the article contains an error:


CUT -----

Spektrum Spektrum is the institute's wall magazine, started by some students of the first batch. Names of those students are..... 1. Guarav Kharb 2. Dhruwat Bhagat 3. Sachin Arora 4. Vipin Singla 5. Himanshu Arora 6. Anurag Kaul It was named after the computer society Linus Torvalds was a part of during his years at University of Helsinki.


CUT -----

The fact is that I'm myself a member of Spektrum rf of University of Helsinki and it's _not_ a computer society. Spektrum was initially called "Kemistklubben" and was a society for swedish speaking students of chemistry at the university. Later (in 1961) it was named Spektrum. Nowadays it's members are students of chemistry, physics, mathematics and computer science. In fact the majority of the members do not study computer science.
