[edit] University of Manila in Spanish

Since this university is Universidad de Manila in Spanish and possible Portuguess, this is going to create a lot of mixups in the translations. *groan* <:( --Jondel 08:11, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

Is it University in Manila or Unversity of Manila? What does "de" mean?--Howard the Duck 09:20, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

De means 'of' . When translated into Spanish, there are three universities that indicate University of Manila:Universidad de Manila, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and University of Manila.--Jondel 13:45, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

Lol. How can you distinguish them? Although I think PLM translates as "University of the City of Manila", so that's off the hook. --Howard the Duck 15:36, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

yes. Including 'city' would help to distinguish one university. I think I will not translate the name and use the exact name used .--Jondel 15:56, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sports team?

What do they call UDM's sports teams? --Howard the Duck 13:26, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
