This is the Union flag of Great Britain. The SCOTTISH saltire of ST ANDREW is the White cross. Not ST PATRICK

[edit] Summary

English: The pre 1801 Union flag (of Great Britain). The CURRENT flag (with St. Patrick's saltire) is from the Sodipodi flag collection. Colours have been improved by Hoshie by using vexilla mundi. The proportions of the flag were fixed by Zscout370 and Madden. A note should made of the term "King's Colors". This term is used by US-based flag makers and sellers because this was one of the flags used by the King's forces during the Revolutionary War. For more on this term see FlagStuff.com.
