Unholy Confessions is a song by Avenged Sevenfold. It is the 2nd track on the 2003 album "Waking the Fallen" and is one of their most popular songs. Waking the Fallen was released on August 23, 2003.


This song can be interpreted as a final wish to get whatever is going on between a relationship out. Or, it could be an anthem for a hero/heroine, to slay and conquer over his/her enemy.

Unholy Confessions was released as a single/music video. In the video Avenged Sevenfold is pictured performing in concert. This song and Chapter Four are regarded by many as Avenged Sevenfold's platinum hits.
