[edit] About Me

Not much to tell, really. I'm a software engineer, book editor and fiction author in the United States. "Book Nerd" sums me up fairly well. That's all you'll get me to admit about myself in here.

I have used Wikipedia for years as a research tool, and have become something of a Wiki-holic, (if that's even a word). My first change to an article in an "official" capacity, was simply removing some random vandalism in the form of racist remarks I found on a page about software testing methodologies. I mostly lurk around Wikipedia for enjoyment (yes, I am the type of person that will sit down and read an encyclopedia or dictionary), but everything I read is done so with an editor's eye.

If I were to have a Masthead statement or official motto with regards to the changes I make to Wikipedia articles, it would be either I am here to help or I come in peace.
