Talk:Unfinished portrait of Franklin D. Roosevelt
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This article seems very empty, almost pointless in fact, without a picture. --Feitclub 01:04, Oct 28, 2004 (UTC)

- I agree. Perhaps this should just be merged with Image:FDR_unfinished.jpg.
[edit] "...never did finish..."
This phrasing makes it sound as though there were many opportunities in which she could, or should have finished it. But wasn't the case rather that she never intended to finish it? In which case, "...never finished..." would be more accurate. --JohnOYou found the secret writing! 13:22, 21 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Disambiguation Page?
"Unfinished Portrait" apparently needs a disambiguation page, as it does not necessarily refer to the unfinished portrait of FDR. I was stunned to read about it being "the" unfinished portrait while reading the FDR article. In fact, I had been told the Washington Unfinished Portrait was "the" unfinished portrait. Apparently, both assertions are incorrect. An internet search reveals a slew of "unfinished portrait" contexts, including an Agatha Christie book, which pre-dates FDR's unfinished portrait. msc 206.124.31.221 02:06, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
