Dion sang that song for Pope John Paul II and 65,000 of people at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Québec. The single was a hit. It sold over 50,000 copies (gold certification) and reached #2 (44 weeks on the chart). "Une Colombe" won 2 Félix Awards for Best Selling Single of the Year and Pop Song of the Year.
It was featured on Céline's 2005 compilation album On Ne Change Pas.
