Underground New York
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Underground New York refers to the countless number of tunnels, used and unused, that run under the metropolis of New York City. The New York Subway, 67% of which is underground, comprises most of this. The so-called Mole People are said to live in the abandoned parts of the subway system.
The city is said to have more space below ground than above ground.[citation needed]
