Image:UMIST main building Whitworth Street.jpg

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sackville Street building University of Manchester, view from Whitworth Street.

The building has entrances from Whitworth Street, Granby Row, and Sackville Street. Rather confusingly, though it's known as the Sackville Street building, the only entrance that is open for entry by students and visitors is the one on Granby Row.

Before the merger, this building was part of UMIST, and was simply called the Main Building.

in my experiance the sackville street entrance (grand entrance) is generally open. 130.88.52.99 17:26, 2 December 2005 (UTC) Plugwash 17:26, 2 December 2005 (UTC)
