Superman: Ultimate Flight is a steel roller coaster with locations in three Six Flags parks: Six Flags Over Georgia in Austell, Georgia, Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ and Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois. It is a Flying roller coaster, in which the riders are secured in flying position (lying prone with arms and face forward) with the track overhead.
The coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia was the first to be built, and it differs from the later two in that it has two parallel stations with switch tracks at the entrance and exit. The later two only have one station, but each of their trains has an extra row, and a re-engineered pretzel loop. The roller coaster track colors are red and yellow. Also, the Georgia version was built on terrain which made the ride much more exciting. The Great America and Great Adventure rides were built on flat land and had much less interaction with the ground as a result.
