UKIB
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
United Kingdom Independent Broadcasters (or UKIB) was an affiliation of British independent television production companies and broadcasters, one of whose primary functions was to represent independent British television (i.e. non-BBC) interests as a member of the European Broadcasting Union. It was formed in the 1960s, but became redundant during the 1990s as the various ITV companies increasingly merged together into one whole organisation.
