UK Astronomy Technology Centre

The UK Astronomy Technology Centre is based at the Royal Observatory in Edinburgh.
The centre researches and tests new technological advances and investigates how these advances can be used to progress the field of Astronomy. The centre has a suite of smaller labs, test cryostats and clean rooms as well as a new test facility capable of handling 8m class and planned large 30-100m class telescopes.
