Ujiyamada Station

Ujiyamada Station (宇治山田駅 -eki?) is a train station on the Kintetsu Yamada Line and Toba Line located in Iwabuchi 1-chome, Ise, Mie Prefecture, Japan.

It was established as the nearest Ise-jingu Grand Shrine terminal station which became a new doorway of Hory Town (神都 Shinto?) Ujiyamada City (renamed to Ise in 1955) on the occasion of Sangu Express Electric Railway (now Kintetsu Osaka Line & Yamada Line) completion of 1931. From those days of long-distance train became getting on and off Station of turnout, the Prime Minister worship that were annual again for distinguished guest visitor including the Emperor and New Year holidays all the time as a destination station.

As for the station layout, there is a wicket in home, the second floor in the third floor at an overhead station of three 4 line by one one side simple system home and a pectinated form home. An entrance has only the west of the first floor and, in spite of being an overhead station, cannot leave a home directly in the East of a station. As for platform 1・2 wire, Toba comes to a dead end, and a lapel train at this station uses a home. Only platform 3・4 wire reaches in Toba and Kashikojima area. There is a stand in the platform 4.

The ground and there is a place where it is connected with the slope on 1 annealing wire side. The limited express bus of Toba and Kashikojima drove before the Toba line beginning operating, was connected with the limited express of this station arrival. After the Toba Line beginning operating, the periodic sight-seeing bus drove, convenience of the sightseer was assured, but presently it is not used.

A royal suit is established in the second floor. Originally a penthouse of the building east end serves as a fire watch tower, and there can be the thing that the fire fighting headquarters of postwar Ise were put.
