Ujiie Naomoto

Ujiie Naomoto (氏家直元?) (d.1571) , better known as "Ujiie Bokuzen", was one of three chief retainers under the Saito clan.
He first served Saito Dosan and after the death of Dosan, he remained at Dosan's sons. However, in 1564, he abandoned his lord Saito Tatsuoki at the battle against Oda Nobunaga, and became a vassal of Nobunaga. He fought in many battles such as the battle of Anegawa in 1570. In 1571 he died on the battlefield, fighting under Shibata Katsuie against uprising populace at the battle of Nagashima.
