Final Fantasy IX: Uematsu's Best Selection is a Best Of and arranged soundtrack album of video game music from the computer role-playing game Final Fantasy IX, produced by Square Co., Ltd. for the PlayStation video game console. The album contains a selection of musical tracks from the Final Fantasy IX: Original Soundtrack, arranged, produced, composed and performed by Nobuo Uematsu. A bonus track also composed by Uematsu was included in the soundtrack. Vocals were performed by Emiko Shiratori for Melodies of Life. It was first released on August 21, 2000 worldwide by Tokyopop Soundtrax. The release bears the catalog number TPCD 0201-2.
The first 32 tracks are directly ripped from the Final Fantasy IX: Original Soundtrack. Track 33 is a bonus track.
