The season 1972-73 of the Cup Winners' Cup football club tournament was won by AC Milan in a final victory against Leeds United. However, the victory was soured by allegations of match fixing against the referee who was sent to prison for match fixing. Leeds United attempted to gain a replay after the Court Case in Greece, however they were denied by UEFA[1].
