The UEA Pirates are a member of the British Collegiate American Football League (BCAFL)'s Southern Conference-Eastern Division. The UEA Pirates were one of the first southern teams to enter BCAFL, and have a long and inconsistent history. Though the Pirates have remained a competitive team throughout, they only have four playoff appearances to their credit and have not won a playoff contest since reaching the College Bowl in 1991.
