[edit] Suggestions
I think "Cycling World Track Championships, Men" might be a better title. Not many people would recognise "UCI" and I think "Cyling" at least be in the title.
Also the table need to show that before early 1990s the open event were split between "Professional" and "Amateur". The "Amateurs" were not actually amateur, but were riders from the Eastern Bloc countries and were actually faster than most of the pros, eg the E. German sprinters such as Michael Hubner. I'm afraid I find the table format quite difficult to edit. LDHan 02:31, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Location 2006 & missing team events
Were the 2006 championships really held in Austria? The Dutch article indicates they were held in Bordeaux. This is backed up by cyclingnews.
Also, is there a reason for the team events (eg. the Madison) to be missing totally? Are they on a different page or just not present? --David Edgar 18:14, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
- It's just that the list as it is now is nowhere near complete. Also the format of the table is not easy to edit nor is it ideal for listing all the different events held over the years, something similar to UCI_Track_World_Championships,_Women might be better. LDHan 19:37, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
