U.S. Route 601

U.S. Route 601 is a spur of U.S. Route 1. It runs 318 miles (512 km) from Mount Airy, North Carolina at U.S. Route 52 to U.S. Route 321, near Tarboro, South Carolina.

In North Carolina, U.S. 601 is concurrent with Interstate 85 between Salisbury and Concord, a distance of approximately 17 miles (27 km). In South Carolina, U.S. 601 shares 5 miles of highway with its parent route, U.S. 1, near Camden.
