[edit] Ev Dispute
Thanks for the backing up but i was thinking, we could leave him to it, it doesnt matter that they arent real. Let him have his article (for now an admin will delete it soon) and if he tries to link it to real Evanescence articles we can revert it bacuse he is adding nonsense, then he can be warned for vandalism.
In other words lets stop dropping to his level--Childzytalkcontribs 20:49, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
Ok they have gone and he admitted defeat thanks for the help and i hope that never happens again. --Childzytalkcontribs 20:53, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
- Cool - a victory! I propose a virtual toast to team work! 2 beats 1! U-Mos 20:55, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
Oh, and apologies if I came across as a bit obnoxious when we were arguing about that trouble-causing magazine scan in The Open Door. U-Mos 20:59, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
HA HA - nice one U-Mos 20:16, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The open door
What the hell is going on with that footnote??? Why do people keep removing it. God some people are sooo anoying, i think we should start warning them harsher. you have reverted it loads of times nad i have rv it a few times --Childzytalkcontribs 17:52, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
- You are completely right apart from I personally have only reverted it once. Why are people even removing it? I put an invisible notice on the page, i wrote on the discussion page - why won't they listen? I say break out the threats! I have no idea what the valid threats are, so I'll leave that to you. Oh, and it seems SonOfNothing is on our side too. U-Mos 19:31, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The Fake Sound of Progress
Hi, you're probably sick of me by now but I gotta ask this. You made articles for all the lostprophets singles today (I just made the last two), but the links you made designated the fake sound of progress page to The Fake Sound of Progress (song). I conformed with this for now, but is the (song) bit necessary? The Fake Sound of Progress is just a redirect to thefakesoundofprogress, so cant The Fake Sound of Progress be used for the single? The topline dabs i put on the pages can stay, allowing access to the page they're not on. Is there a problem with doing this? U-Mos 16:17, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed *merges pages* BTW thanks for finishing them, i started getting tired.--Childzytalkcontribs 18:12, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
No probs, they were easy pages to be my first! I'm going through the links to the (song) version now. Btw, I made a couple of changes to that lovely lostprophets template you did - you managed to get lee's name wrong! I also removed ilan rubin and several links that redirect to lostprophets or go nowhere. I won't take offence if you revert it, but i think that's how it should be. U-Mos 18:50, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
- I reverted some things, such as the Red links bacuse they are there so people can create article, i have also been working on the band members artciles. and BTW who is ilan rubin, is he the drummer??? --Childzytalkcontribs 18:53, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
AH I keep removing red links so oops! Personally I don't think band memeber articles are a good idea as none of them have done anything outside lostprophets. Ilan Rubin drums for the band, but he is not OF the band. He's not in their promo pics, or listed as a band member in Liberation Transmission etc. Therefore it is believed (by me) that he shouldn't be in their infobox or template or suchlike. U-Mos 18:59, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
Something else! IF band pages are deemed necessary, Richard Oliver should be Jamie Oliver, as for some reason that's what he calls himself. This will probably cause many chef-related problems, but that's how it should be I think. U-Mos 19:08, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
Hmm it would cause big problems but if you are sure thats his name i will move it. --Childzytalkcontribs 11:06, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
I am sure about jamie oliver and ilan rubin U-Mos 17:18, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- Yep agree, good work. BTW Just wondering but who is lostprohpets current drummer??? Childzy (Talk|Contribs) 18:20, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Thanks, I try! They don't really have a drummer: Mike Chiplin left over a year ago, josh freese drummed on the new album and ilan rubin is currently touring with them, but he is not a member of the band. U-Mos 19:21, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Very strange Childzy (Talk|Contribs) 18:13, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Horowitz article
I noticed your comment on the Anthony Horowitz article and wondered if you meant a complete rewrite of the article, or just the paragraphs that need attention? As you can see from the history page, I have tried over several months to improve the article (adding picture etc) to a better standard. Hopefully you can see the work that has been put in, and if you still feel the need to rewrite, use the information already available in the article. Thanks. - Britishagent 20:59, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
I would definitely keep the information that's there, as none of it is actually wrong. For my mind, the article focuses on him being primarily a screen writer, which is just not true. I certainly resent paragraphs called "Alex Rider" and then "Other Novels", as he has been a popular writer since the 80s. Basically a restructuring of the article and more information is needed. [edit] Will do
Yep, me again... Anyway, you recently took out the unofficial lostprophets links, and quite right too I say ('cept for dragonninja), but they're starting to be added again. I don't have the time to do anything as I'm off on my hols in a minute, but you might want to add notices and warnings and suchlike. Just thought I'd let you know... U-Mos 10:54, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- yep will do, i hate external links. have a good holiday speak with ya when you come back. Childzy (Talk|Contribs) 11:53, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 4 in the video; 5 in the band
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I only noticed four band members in the video (and indeed the promo picture) for this song. I'm assuming it's Terry Balsamo who's missing due to his health problems, but can someone confirm this so it can be put into the article? U-Mos 12:43, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
They lost there Bass player before the vide shoot.Remember the one that dressed weird at the grammy's?he's gone. -SOADLuver
Oh yeah... my mistake! U-Mos 09:27, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] A Town Called Hypocrisy
Well it has been confirmed as the next single out September 4th 2006. Proving I submitted the correct information.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by YesMapRadio (talk • contribs).
It has NOW, unless you own a time machine you were wrong to enter it all that time ago. U-Mos 12:34, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
