I remember that well, too. "A M P E X", all lit up there on the west side; I think it was actually in San Carlos.

Of course, you must also remember the old Circle Star theater nearby, right? I still kick myself for missing one of Richard Pryor's last appearances there. ==ILike2BeAnonymous 00:17, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

yeah, that's right! The Circle Star! I saw Zappa there, as well as "Super Jazz Explosion Group" I think it was called: Allan Holdsworth, Steve Smith (musician), Keith Jarrett, & Stanley Clarke, if I recall correctly! (Hmmm, Airto too right?) -Tzf 00:58, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
