Tyuugen Tetsudo

Tyuugen Tetsudo(中原鉄道) was a train operating company located in koizumi-machi (currently Oizumi), Oura distinct, Gunma prefecture in Japan, which was founded on April 5, 1913 and purchased by Tobu Railway in 1937.

Tyuugen Tetsudo had began to operate Koizumi Line from Koizumimachi (currently Oizumi) to Tatebayashi on March 12, 1917. It had changed its name to Jousyuu tetsudo (上州鉄道) on February 20, 1918. And it had finally been purchased by Tobu Railway in 1937.
