The Tyrell Corporation is a fictional corporation from the 1982 Ridley Scott film Blade Runner. Based in Los Angeles in the year 2019, Tyrell is named after its founder Dr. Eldon Tyrell and is a high-tech biocorp primarily concerned with the production of life-like androids called replicants. Tyrell's motto is "More human than human".

The Tyrell Corporation served as the inspiration for the Genom Corporation from the cult anime series Bubblegum Crisis. Indeed, the series itself serves as an extended homage to Blade Runner.

[edit] Multiple Tyrell Buildings

For such an expansive corporation there is the question of whether there are more than just one Tyrell Corporation buildings, not evident in the film, this debate is more of a point when the film is looked at in great detail. If the replicants are just produced in one city (Los Angeles) then the corporation may not be as powerful as its made out to be in the film, surely Dr. Eldon Tyrell would have thought about expanding his high-tech biocorp into new countries to make his business boom more than ever. However it seems that his wealth is satisfactory enough with the Tyrell Corporation being based in L.A alone.
