The name Tip has been used for four tropical cyclones in the northwest Pacific Ocean.
- 1979's Super Typhoon Tip (1979 STY 23) - The most intense tropical cyclone ever recorded in the world. Peaked as a Category 5 with a pressure of 870 mb. Tip later weakened to a Category 1 Typhoon before striking Japan in October 1979.
- 1983's Typhoon Tip (1983 TY 02)
- 1986's Typhoon Tip (1986 TY 10W) - A Category 1 typhoon that remained well at sea.
- 1989's Tropical Storm Tip (1989 TS 23W) - A minimal Tropical Storm that remained well out at sea in September 1989.
